Let's relax, embrace the holiday season and connect with nature by creating your own one-of-a-kind wreath! Embroidery hoops are a perfect base for wreath-making, besides it looks cool and it's a great way to repurpose! Create a one-of-a-kind and unique holiday wreath with living moss, preserved moss, branches, native/non-native greeneries, ribbons/strings, and a decorative cardinal for good luck. There will be another additional surprise fun elements to add to your wreath at additional cost.
These wreaths are perfect for outdoor display on your front door or in your backyard, as they are weather-resistant to the cold. Additionally, you'll learn about the importance of native plants inspired to become the stewards for our habitat in the city.
Supplies included in the workshop:
• Embroidery hoop
• Variety of moss (living and preserved)
• Fall/holiday decorations/branches/moss
• Ribbons, strings, etc.
• Additional surprise fun elements to add to your wreath at additional cost
• Print out tips and resources about gardening with native plants
Hot tea will be provided! Bring your own mug if you’d like! It’ll be merry and cozy!
Please sign up 7 days before your workshop date for me to gather supplies/materials. Space is limited to 7 people; 1 person per registration.
