Sunday, January 18th, 5-6.30pm
Poppy & Finch Studio (nestled in the back of Plural Collective PDX), 8012 SE 13th Ave., Portland, OR 97202
$37 (Space is limited to 10 people)
Please sign up for this workshop by January 16th.
You will learn how to create a smoke bundle/smudge to honor the New Moon & lead a short introspection journaling with reflective prompts.
This January New Moon carries us into a resting & cleansing time of the year. This is a very gentle time of preparation for the year to come. Winter is time for a more passive release. This aromatic medicinal smoke bundle can become part of our ritual as a reminder to be gentle to ourselves, others, and the natural world around us.
All supplies & materials are included except the stone. You can select and purchase your own stone at the workshop or you can bring your own.
Here’s the workshop timeline:
Introduction & brief talk about native plants
Land acknowledgment
A brief guided journaling and manifesting
Guided hands-on/creation session while learning more about western red cedar
Supplies/materials:
Western red cedar greenery (foraged sustainably)
Natural strings/chords
Choice of crystals available for purchase (feel free to bring your own if you’d like)
Dried flowers or seed pods and cinnamon
Printed information & resources about gardening with native plants
NO REFUND FOR CANCELLATION 3 DAYS BEFORE THE WORKSHOP DATE.
