Pop-up Workshop: Celebratory Mother’s Day Inner Queen Botanical Crowns

• Open for all levels (minimum age is 8).

This workshop is not for mothers only. We all have qualities of Mother Nature inside of us! Let’s honor your inner queen with your own beautiful botanical crown creation. Do you know that each female native mason bee is a queen! Just like all of you!

Celebrate Mother’s Day by learning how to create your own one-of-a-kind botanical crown using an element of PNW native plant and seasonal flowers/foliage surrounded by nature. Wear it to work, while you wash dishes, or play pickle-ball when time is challenging and you feel low so you can feel empowered and inspired to celebrate and honor yourself.

Here’s the workshop timeline:

• Introduction & brief talk about native plants

• Land acknowledgment

• Guided hands-on/creation on botanical crown making

Supplies/materials:

• Wires, floral tape, ribbons

• An element of PNW native plant

• Seasonal flowers/foliage

• Additional decorations (available for purchase at the workshop)

• Printed information & resources about gardening with native plants
