You don’t need to have a garden to become a steward for our habitat in the urban landscape! Learn how to create a one-of-a-kind wall-mounted mini-habitat garden using Pacific Northwest native plants. We will cover basic planting, floral design composition techniques and then have fun decorating our living wall-mounted gardens. Walk away with a woodland wall-mounted mini-habitat with information about native plants and resources. Mount it on the wall to adorn your outdoor patio (preferably indirect light to partial shade) while attracting beneficial insects, it is a win-win.
What’s included:
• Curated materials/supplies
• Educational talk about native plants + their role to our habitat (important + fun facts)
• A hand-out of tips + resources including information about native plants, local organizations and native nurseries
• You take home your own unique botanical creation
• Refreshing beverage
