Know Your Right & Watercolor Poster Workshop with Ashley Fenner
Saturday, Sept. 27th, 5-7pm
Poppy & Finch Studio, nestled in the back of Plural’s Outdoor Corridor (through the metal gate)
Sliding scale: $25-50 (The sliding scale price option is designed to create accessibility to this workshop for everyone regardless of their current budget while covering the cost of all included materials).
A percentage goes to PIRC (Portland Immigrant Rights Coalition), defending the rights of immigrants in our community.
Come learn about Know Your Right presented by a local organization & make a protest poster that demands attention and find your voice through the expressive medium of watercolor. This workshop aims to cultivate community and provide a space to rally together to ensure our voices are heard.
During this workshop, guest watercolor artist, Ashley Fenner, we will design and execute impactful protest posters using wet on wet and wet on dry watercolor techniques. Through this workshop you will gain confidence with the brush and learn how to capture the rage, hope, and empathy that unites us during this time of political turbulence. Make your voice heard and inspire others with a protest poster that harnesses the depth of emotion that drives us to speak out for our shared future.

No experience is necessary to participate and all skill levels and ages are welcome to join.
Space is limited to 10 people. No refund 5 days before the workshop date.

Ashley walked into my shop a couple of weeks ago with her friends, we shared similar values and walked away with this workshop as a result!
