Botanical/flower press artist, Bri Rossi (Little Leaf Ink) and I are teaming up for an evening of educational and creative plant fun to celebrate the longer days of summer solstice. Come learn how to become a steward of our habitat and the craft of flower pressing.

I will share my brief presentation, The Beauty + Purpose of Native Plants for our Habitat, and some native plant cuttings from her educational habitat garden to be used for the workshop. Little Leaf Ink will then lead the group through how to preserve those plants through botanical pressing. Each person will get their own handmade reusable flower press that we’ll fill with plants and will learn tips and tricks for getting beautiful preserved plants that can be used for gifts or mementos.
