Sliding scale: $25-35 (The sliding scale price option is designed to create accessibility to this workshop for everyone regardless of their current budget while covering the cost of all included materials and instructors’ time for planning, coordination and hosting).

On August 9th, we protest, boycott, strike, shut the country down. If you’re looking for something cathartic to do, join me and my graphic design friend, Sophia Daly, crafting your own postcard to get relief through creativity, joy, camaraderie & resistance from this political turbulence using sustainable medium of paper, cardboards, archival, up-cycled materials, etc. The goal of this gathering is to cultivate joy, play, and community providing a space to resist together to ensure our voices are heard.

During this workshop, guest graphic designer, Sophia Daly, will lead us to share her design principles and paper-crafting techniques to decorate your postcards. You are welcomed to bring your own materials for yourself or to share.

JOY + ART + COMMUNITY + OUR VOICE + REST = RESISTANCE

Sophia and I will provide a template for you to write and a list of resources for you to take home to feel empowered and resist this fascism.

No experience is necessary to participate and all skill levels and ages are welcome to join.

Space is limited to 10 people per session.
