Woodland Mini-habitat in a Repurposed Lamp Globe
Woodland Mini-habitat in a Repurposed Lamp Globe
A woodland mini-habitat in a repurposed lamp globe with Redwood Sorrel (Oxalis Oregana), moss, branches, handmade local ceramic mushroom, Douglas Fir cone, and faux bird. It comes with a gift box.
Redwood Sorrel is a low plant in patches, with 3 heart-shaped leaflets on each leaf and 1 funnel-shaped, white or rose-pink flower at end of each stalk that blooms from April to September. This perennial herb forms lush, solid, inviting carpets on the cool floor of coastal redwood forests. The sour juice is characteristic of this genus, and gives the genus name, from the Greek oxys (“sour”).
Care instructions:
Perfect for your covered partial to full shaded patio or balcony. Place it in your sink and water slowly around the plant until water drips at the bottom once a week; mist it twice in between watering.
